It all Starts with a Good Foundation

My many years of helping others pick out wardrobes taught me nothing if not that foundation is the key. Just as the proper underwear stands between fashion and disaster, your pantry is the strong hold between you and the drive through (or cereal bowl... we've all been guilty of cereal for dinner).

Your pantry (or cabinet) is a guard station between keeping up your healthy lifestyle and ordering out Chinese. When most people think of pantry items, they envision boxes: mac-n-cheese, peanut butter, crackers, chips, etc, etc, yada yada yada. NOT YOUR PANTRY! The primal pantry (and fridge) is stuffed with fantastic snacks like home-made beef jerky, fresh and dried fruit, home-made “granola”, nut butters, tons of veggies and various other staples that will keep you full and focused. Plus, a well stocked pantry will allow you to throw together a last minute meal without a trip to the store or drive thru.
